It`s Mimi`s Birthday!

Cam: "What Mimi!? it`s your birthday? Whats a birthday?!"

So Mom came to see us. She recently moved back to Florida and she travels a lot for work so I decided last minute to call the boys and have an early birthday dinner for her. She comes and goes like a butterfly... literaly you have to catch her, enjoy your time with her, and then set her free. ( ;

I was proud of my centerpiece. I expected to find some leftover flowers from Valentine's day at the store but there were none. So I just got some Baby`s breath and went home and cut a few branches off of a flowering tree I found. I felt a little guilty though because it was absolutely the only bit of color anywhere on that drab rainy day. It sat all alone on the side of the road sprouting out bits of promises for spring and I felt like I was robbing nature to display it in my house. There was plenty of tree of course and I have given it more love here than it would have ever gotten from cars passing by. ( ;
